Chapter 10 — the final chapter — of the book that I’ve been feverishly working on for the past 2-3 weeks.
I didn’t think I’d feel an overwhelming rush of relief (like I normally do when a project is finally complete!) because I still have wayyy too much work on my plate right now to celebrate. I didn’t think I’d feel relieved… but, oh, I was wrong. I’m light as a feather at the moment… at least until morning, when I realize how much work I still have sitting here.
But, for now, I’m going to take a very brief moment to celebrate and do an ugly happy dance (that, thankfully, none of you will see), and then, I’m going to SLEEP. I predict I’ll sleep like a baby tonight… well, a baby who has finally learned to sleep through the night; not a newborn baby who sleeps fitfully for 2-hour stretches. Who on earth came up with THAT ridiculous phrase??? Obviously not a mother of a newborn… but I digress (imagine!)…
Happy dance, then I’m floating off to bed!
