Wednesday night, Nick was supposed to take Damon to a Pirates game… but it was rainy and cold and just nasty out. So instead, Nick set up his karaoke equipment in the living room and we had a family karaoke party!
It should come as no surprise to anyone who knows Avery that the diva belted out every Taylor Swift song known to man (with a few Carrie Underwood tunes thrown in for good measure). She was cracking me up all evening… she couldn’t be more of a drama queen if she tried; Damon’s right!
At first, Damon didn’t want much to do with the microphones and his voice booming through the house. He’s definitely the opposite of his showstopper sister! But Damon finally warmed up… and once he did, we couldn’t get him to shut up!
I think Karaoke Night was a hit. It’s definitely a fun indoor activity for a rainy Spring evening!
